Wolves vs Brighton report and reaction as O'Neil's side outclassed

Good afternoon from Molineux. Wolves are back in action, at home to Brighton in this first home game of the new Premier League season. Gary O'Neil will be managing the team at Molineux for the first time and will be hoping his players can build on a hugely encouraging performance at Manchester United on Monday evening when they deserved better than a 1-0 defeat. They may have to match those standards, and add a goal or two, this afternoon against a quality Brighton side who began the season with a 4-1 win at home to Luton Town last weekend. The last time the teams met, Brighton won 6-0 on the south coast, in April, having already beaten Wolves 3-2 at Molineux last November. So, there's a chance for a little revenge this afternoon as well as the incentive of getting some points on the board. Whatever happens, we've got you covered. I'm BirminghamLive's Wolves reporter Mike Baggaley and will keep you updated with all the build up, team news, action and reaction as it happens.
