Stunning 'Bigfoot' video emerges showing 'best ever' shots of possible Sasquatch
A video showing the "best ever" footage of what could be "Bigfoot" has resurfaced online, leaving skeptics confused by what they are watching. The video, captured by Josh Highcliffe in 2015, appears to show a Sasquatch rifling through the Mississippi woodlands. It has been watched more than 800,000 times over the years, and has recently gone viral again. In the caption underneath the video, Highcliffe explains he came across the creature ripping bark from a tree and tossing it onto the ground. He said he was "afraid" to confront the hairy figure. Josh "heard a noise behind a tree" before checking it out. He said: "I was out hunting hogs, just sitting in a part of the swamp. “When I got around, I could not believe my own two eyes. There was this huge black thing crouched by a dead cypress about 50 yards away. “I thought it was a hog but saw these big shoulders and a head upright with hands,” the hunter continued. “It looked like it was digging out the stump. My first instinct was to run, I did not even think of shooting.” Highcliffe says the creature was around 7ft tall and did not resemble a bear. He was left puzzled by what the beast in front of him was. But many commenters believed he had indeed found Bigfoot. One said: "This is by far the most convincing video I’ve ever seen on Bigfoot and its possible existence." While another added: "I’m usually a huge skeptic, which p***** my friends off to no end. But I have to say that this is by far the best and most convincing footage I have ever seen." A third said: "Honestly, this is probably the best footage ever recorded. Amazing that it’s not talked about more." The existence of Bigfoot - or the Sasquatch - have floated around the United States for hundreds of years. There have been thousands of reports, but no concrete evidence of its existence. A majority of sightings come in the Pacific Northwest. Although, there have been 676 reported alleged sightings or encounters in Washington state, and 445 in California, according to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization.
