ITV Coronation Street's Daniel Brocklebank sends message to new love after co-star split
Coronation Street's Daniel Brocklebank has sent a message to his new lover as he marked a special day. The is renowned for his role as Billy Mayhew on the Cobbles. The character has been through a difficult time on the Cobbles since Paul Foreman has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease. Daniel's life away from the screen is fortunately less turbulent and he regularly shares updates on social media. The 43-year-old recently went Instagram official with his new boyfriend, Jordan Coulthard. Daniel has taken to the social media platform today to share a snap of the two together on Jordan's birthday. He said: "Happy birthday to this one." Jordan is an aspiring singer and Daniel sent a message to mark the release of his single last month. He said: "Very proud of this one." Jordan responded: "And thank you for standing by my side." Daniel enjoys close friendships with his co-stars and was previously in a relationship with Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel Osbourne. The soap stars dated in 2017 and made their red carpet debut together at the British LGBT awards. Rob won the Best Newcomer prize at the British Soap Awards that year - and said his co-star was "the best thing I've taken home this year". However, the couple split two months after going public with their relationship.
