The Project's newest star walked down the aisle with his fiancée Humyara Mahbub in a Bengali wedding on Sydney Harbour on Saturday. The 38-year-old and his bride looked resplendent in traditional attire as they exchanged vows by the water surrounded by family and friends. Hum donned a banarasi silk saree with stunning cream embroidery and carried a bouquet of red and pink flowers, while the groom matched in a dhoti kurta. The couple posed for a series of photos shared to social media, with Michael looking absolutely smitten as he cuddled up to his beloved. Michael Hing is a married man. Michael's friend and co-star Nikki Britton attended the nuptials and shared the good news on The Sunday Project. 'I'm rehydrating heavily. It was so beautiful. I've never been to a Bengali wedding. Look at them! It was just so full of love', she said on the show this weekend. 'It was so full of people. It was so full of delicious Chinese food, I have an MSG hangover. Look at this beautiful bride,' she added. She is also a writer, having penned the Netflix comedy series Why Are You Like This, which aired in 2018. 'I've never worked on a project as collaborative and frustrating as making a TV show', she told Liminal magazine. 'It's insane to get mad at your friends because you disagree about if a joke is funny, but I literally had multiple emotional breakdowns about it,' Hum went on.
