Bec Brewin, from Melbourne , was eager to purchase the $169 'Special Buy' and searched the Aldi Australia website for details. However, she wasn't expecting to come across a video promoting the bike which shows it casually orbiting among the planets and stars with commentary played over the top. 'Has anyone actually been on the Aldi website? The reason I ask is because I was just looking up this bike,' Bec said in a TikTok video. 'I'm interested but need to know the dimensions... and this is what I found.' She then proceeded to show the ad - sending it viral almost immediately. It began with a shot of what appears to be the milky way galaxy before the narrator says: 'Outer space. A special place where the vacuum renders everything silent, leading us to ask: 'Does the sun roar as it burns? Do the planets sing as they spin?'' 'And do they sing about.. the foldable exercise bike from Aldi for only $169?' the voice continues then the product appears on screen. The 'Good Different' marketing tactic sat well with thousands of other shoppers who were entertained. The video shows the $169 bike casually flying among the planets and stars (pictured), which entertained thousands on TikTok The product is currently available in stores while stock lasts 'Aldi are you ok?' one asked in the comments of Bec's video. 'Aldi. It's a state of mind,' another replied, a third added: 'Aldi's advertising department is run by Gen Z.' One admitted: 'This would make me buy anything to be honest.' 'I suddenly need a foldable exercise bike from Aldi for only $169,' one wrote. The foldable exercise bike is ideal for those who live in a small home and don't enjoy going to the gym. Customers can exercise from the comfort of their own home to burn fat and strengthen legs. The bike itself displays time, speed, distance, calories, pulse and odometer.
