A quiet south Sydney neighbourhood was disturbed when officers raided a residential home on Kelsey Street in Arncliffe about 9am on Thursday. The street has been cordoned off with 'hot zone' taping at either end to indicate the presence of dangerous materials in the area. Nuclear material has been uncovered during an Australian Border Force raid on a suburban home in Arncliffe, in southern Sydney Two hazmat fire trucks are on the scene with multiple officers wearing protective hazmat suits, a couple of ambulances and five cop cars parked in surrounding streets. Environmental Protection Agency officers were on the scene throughout the morning. Neighbours were seen milling around the exclusion zone as officers continue to investigate the scene. An ABF spokesperson said all safety measures were being implemented. 'People in the vicinity of the location are urged to follow all directions from emergency services,' the ABF said in a statement. It is understood that there is currently no danger to the public. More to come.
