Coronation Street has left fans gripped with Stephen Reid's explosive storyline on the cobbles, where the businessman has murdered three people so far, as well as terrorising plenty of others. However, one person who is nervous about the storyline is actress Jodie Prenger, who plays Glenda Shuttleworth, as she worries her character could be killed off after pointing out a past clue. Glenda, who also runs Little Big Shotz, currently works with Daisy Midgeley and Jenny Connor, who Stephen fancies, in the Rovers. However, Glenda has also been wary of Stephen and soap fans will recall that the killer doesn't take lightly to those who question him. Speaking to Digital Spy , Glenda star Jodie said: "Glenda has never liked him – ever since he took that £10 note! She clocks it, doesn’t she? I think Glenda goes on a gut reaction and I don’t think she thinks he’s good news." Talking about if the cast worry if they could be Stephen's next victim, Jodie added: "Of course it’s a worry – because you don’t know what’s going to happen! Imagine if he gets me? Everyone would have to say: 'Glenda was right!'" Earlier this week, photos saw the cobbles killer fleeing Weatherfield and making a dramatic airport dash. In the snaps, it sees Stephen actor Todd Boyce on location as he is seen in character getting out of a taxi before heading to a desk to purchase a last minute ticket. In the filming photos, a stressed Stephen looks without luggage, hinting that perhaps his trip to the airport wasn't exactly planned, especially as he is buying a last minute airline ticket. Soap watchers will recall that Stephen has been on a killing spree, murdering Leo Thompkins, the latter's father Teddy and Rufus Donahue. He has also terrorised Elaine Metcalfe and Carla Connor by secretly spiking them. Only recently, filming photos showed the moment that a car rooftop box was removed from the canal as shocked residents looked on. Viewers will remember that Stephen used the item to dispose of Teddy's body while other location snaps saw Stephen trying to kill Tim Metcalfe , who has always been wary of the businessman. It remains to be seen what happens after the rooftop box is discovered and whether Tim gets killed but the new airport filming photos tease that Stephen is perhaps rattled as he looks to make a last-minute escape. The question is, where is Stephen heading to, could it be Canada, where he was raised? And with the discovery of the car rooftop box and an attack on Tim, could the police be shortly following behind so the murderer finally gets his comeuppance or will he be able to escape in time?
